Mavic Mavic Crossmax 29 Wheelset

The name Crossmax echoes a long history in the world of cross-country. The Mavic wheel Crossmax 29 is therefore strong, reliable, and tubeless-ready thanks to its Maxtal rim tubeless ready fitted with airtight rim tape. 

Its hookless, asymmetric rim with a 25 mm width benefits from numerous patented technologies, including SUP welding, which provides an even stronger, better-finished joint .

For the spoke pattern, Mavic chose a total of 24 straight, flat, butted spokes, laced in a 2-cross pattern 

Finally, the Crossmax features the new Infinity hub with an ID360-type double-ratchet freehub body, which is highly reliable and offers fast engagement for efficient acceleration. Designed for 6-bolt brake rotors,  these hubs are compatible with Shimano HG9, XD, and Micro Spline freehub bodies and come configured for 12x142 mm thru-axles and 9x135 mm quick-release axles,  with adapters sold separately.
