Why entrust your suspension to the experts?

A fork that bottoms out, a shock that loses its lubrication, or a rebound setting that feels vague... We all know that maintenance is a pain point for many riders. But to preserve the "trail feel" Fox is known for, a service every 100 hours (or once a year) is essential.
At PureBike, we don’t do things halfway. We don’t just replace a seal in some corner of the workshop: we’re the only authorized Fox Service Center in all of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Whether you’re local or on the other side of France, your suspension deserves VIP treatment.

Official certification, not just a sticker

When you entrust your equipment to PureBike, you can count on expertise validated by the brand itself:

  • Official training: Our technicians have completed official Fox training and receive ongoing updates on new technologies (Grip2, Live Valve, Float X2...).

  • Specialized tools: No DIY workarounds. We use the presses, vacuum pumps, and torque wrenches specified by Fox.

  • Genuine parts only: We don’t use aftermarket seals. We use only genuine Fox seal kits and oils (Gold, Red, or PTFE) to guarantee factory performance.

  • Full transparency: Want to understand what we do to your gear? Official documentation and service procedures are available for you to review in-store or right here.

Fox 36, 38 & 40 Float fork service (Enduro & DH)

  • Service includes: Replacement of the air can seal kit, complete cleaning, and lubrication. This service eliminates friction noise and air pressure loss.
  • The PureBike bonus: We use only Fox Float Fluid lubricants for long-lasting lubrication.

High-performance shock service (X, X2, DPX2)

  • Service includes: A complex service that includes replacing all dynamic seals, changing the oil, and repressurizing with nitrogen or air, depending on the model’s specifications.
  • The PureBike bonus: A complete damper tune diagnostic to make sure your settings (High/Low Speed) remain 100% effective.

Why not wait until it starts leaking?

Waiting until your suspension shows signs of wear (oil leak, suction noise, loss of travel) often means a hefty repair bill.

  • Invisible wear: Over time, oil accumulates contaminants and loses its lubricating properties. This creates friction that can prematurely wear the finish on your stanchions (the famous Kashima coating or black anodizing).

  • Performance: New wiper seals and fresh oil bring back the small-bump sensitivity and mid-stroke support you had on day one.

Don’t let worn suspension ruin your rides. Read on for instructions on how to send us your suspension from anywhere in France.

How do you send us your suspension?

How it works

Whether you live just down the road from Saint-Maixent or on the other side of France, we’ve made it easy.

Stop by the store with your bike or just your suspension. It’s a great opportunity to talk setups with the team and check out the latest gear.

  • Tip: Call us ahead of time to schedule an appointment and avoid leaving your bike away from the trails for too long!

This is what many of our customers choose. Here’s what to do:

  • Select your service package: Add the service option that suits your fork and/or shock maintenance needs to your cart from the site’s "Services" section.

  • Pack your suspension: Clean your suspension—fork and/or shock (we prefer mechanics to mud!)—and protect it well with bubble wrap in a sturdy box.

  • Ship it: Send everything to our address at:
    Pure Bike
    Suspension Service
    17 Avenue de Blossac
    79400 St Maixent L'école

  • We’ll take it from here: Once our technicians receive your suspension, they’ll service it and ship it back using the shipping method you selected when you paid for your order.

If you have any questions about this service, please email us at pureinfo@purebike.fr.

Quick FAQ

Here are answers to some of the questions we get asked most often.

Ideally, yes. This reduces shipping costs and the risk of damage in transit. If you send us the complete bike, additional labor charges will apply for disassembly and reinstallation.

Our average workshop turnaround time is 3 to 8 business days after we receive your package. This can vary depending on the season (spring and summer are often busy!). Feel free to give us a call to check on the workshop schedule before shipping.

The full works: complete disassembly, cleaning in a bio-cleaning tank, replacement of all air and oil seals with Fox Genuine kits, oil replacement using Fox-specific viscosity grades, and a function test on a service bench.

Yes, we preserve the shim stacks and internal modifications. Just let us know when you place your order or include a note in the package so our FOX technician can take this into account.

No unpleasant surprises at PureBike. If an internal part (rebound shaft, piston, etc.) needs to be replaced outside the service package, we’ll contact you with a quote before doing any work. It’s your call.
