Article 1 - Introduction
These terms of sale are entered into by and between Purebike.fr, a company with share capital of 37,000 euros, whose registered office is located at 17 avenue de Blossac 79400 Saint Maixent l'Ecole, registered with the Niort Trade and Companies Register under number 492 645 981 00035, hereinafter referred to as "Purebike.fr," and any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase through the "Purebike.fr" website, hereinafter referred to as the "buyer." By accessing the website or placing an order, the user acknowledges having read and accepted all the provisions below without reservation.
Article 2 - Company Information
Purebike is a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of 37,000 euros, whose registered office is located at 17 avenue de Blossac 79400 St Maixent l'Ecole. It is registered with the Niort Trade and Companies Register under number 492 645 981, and its intra-Community VAT number is FR74 492 645 981.
Purebike is an online retailer whose website, Purebike.fr, offers a wide range of accessories and components for bikes and cyclists. It is also a store located at 17 avenue de Blossac in St Maixent l'Ecole (79400), where you can find the full range offered on the website, as well as a Fox Service Center and Bosch E-Bike Service-certified workshop to support your passion.
Article 3 - Purpose
These terms of sale define the contractual relationship between Purebike.fr and the buyer, and the terms applicable to all purchases made through the Purebike.fr online store. Purchasing a product or service through this website implies the buyer's unconditional acceptance of these terms of sale. These terms of sale take precedence over any other general or specific terms not expressly approved by Purebike.fr. Purebike.fr reserves the right to modify its terms of sale at any time, in which case the applicable terms will be those in effect on the date the buyer places the order.
Article 4 - Characteristics of Products and Services
The products and services offered are those listed in the catalog published on the Purebike.fr website. These products and services are offered while supplies last. Each product is accompanied by a description prepared by the supplier, manufacturer, or Purebike.fr itself when no description is provided. Catalog photos are as accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee a perfect match with the product offered, particularly with regard to colors. The graphic representation therefore does not engage the seller's liability or affect the validity of the sale. Purebike.fr shall not be responsible for any incompatibility between products purchased on the Purebike.fr website and products owned by the buyer, and no refund will be issued for such incompatibility. The buyer may contact a sales representative at any time to inquire about compatibility, technical specifications, or any other details needed to make a purchase.
Article 5 - Prices
Prices shown on the Purebike.fr website are in euros and include all applicable taxes, taking into account the VAT rate in effect on the date the order is placed. Any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of products or services. Purebike.fr reserves the right to change its prices at any time; however, the price shown in the catalog on the date the order is placed will be the only price applicable to the buyer. Prices shown do not include shipping and delivery costs. These costs are disclosed to the buyer when they confirm their shopping cart. Online sales of the products and services featured on the website are limited to buyers residing in France, Monaco, Andorra, or any EU country.
Article 6 - Orders
Buyers wishing to purchase a product or service must:
- provide the information required to create a customer account or sign in to an existing account
- complete the online order form, called the shopping cart, by adding the items they want and carefully selecting the correct size or color options for each item
- confirm their order after reviewing it (this step implies acceptance of these terms of sale, acknowledgment that they have read and fully understood them, and waiver of any right to rely on their own purchasing terms or other terms.)
- make payment under the terms provided
In return, Purebike.fr will email an order confirmation to the customer, which alone will serve as the sales contract binding both parties. This order confirmation email will summarize the following information: Order number, list of items ordered, quantity of items ordered, unit price of items ordered, shipping costs, total paid at checkout, payment method, and selected delivery method. Purebike.fr reserves the right to cancel any order placed by a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to payment for a previous order.
The information entered by the Customer when placing an order is binding on the Customer. If the recipient's address details are entered incorrectly, Purebike.fr cannot be held responsible for being unable to deliver the product. If an order must be reshipped due to insufficient information provided by the customer, the customer will be charged for the new delivery.
If Purebike.fr makes an error in the contents of an order, the customer must contact customer service (after-sales service) before returning any items. If applicable, Purebike.fr will cover the return shipping costs using an economy service, and the shipment will be insured for the value of the merchandise.
Article 7 - Payment Terms
Payment is due when the order is placed and corresponds to the amount shown to the customer when confirming the order.
Payments are processed through Banque Populaire's secure SystemPay system, which uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol to encrypt transmitted information so that no third party can access it while it is being transmitted over the network.
3D Secure authentication at checkout adds an extra step for the customer, who must authenticate as the cardholder. This authentication may take several forms (entering a password, the cardholder's date of birth, etc.). The authentication method depends on the cardholder's bank.
As part of our efforts to prevent online fraud, information about your order may be shared with third parties for various verification purposes. Similarly, Purebike.fr may ask you to provide supporting documents to validate your payment.
Payment methods available to the customer:
- Online credit or debit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard)
- Credit or debit card in 3 or 4 installments (Alma Interest-Free Payment Option Alma)
- PayPal
- Check
- Bank transfer
The buyer's account is charged when the order is placed. If any of the products ordered are unavailable at the time of purchase, Purebike.fr will inform the customer of the delivery timeframe and discuss a possible partial or full refund. Any payment not approved by the bank or identified as fraudulent will automatically result in the cancellation of the order.
At the buyer's request, an invoice showing VAT will be sent to them on paper.
Article 8 - Alma Interest-Free Payment Option (3 or 4 installments)
Alma is an interest-free loan with no fees charged to the buyer, repayable in 3 or 4 installments, offered by Alma SAS, located at 176 Avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine and registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 839 100 575. The interest-free loan amount ranges from €300 to €3,000.
Alma is available to individuals (adults) residing in France who hold a Visa or MasterCard with an expiration date more than 6 months after the purchase date. Cards requiring systematic authorization, including Electron, Maestro, Nickel, etc., as well as e-cards, Indigo cards, and American Express cards are not accepted. After completing their order, the customer must click the “Pay in 3 or 4 installments with ALMA” button.
The customer will then be redirected to the ALMA payment page, which displays the order summary and the interest-free loan request, which they must then approve. PureBike merely connects its customers with ALMA by providing a landing page on its website. It is therefore not subject to the regulations governing intermediaries in banking transactions and payment services.
ALMA reserves the right to approve or deny the customer's request for financing in 3 or 4 interest-free installments. The customer has 14 calendar days to withdraw from the interest-free loan.
Warning! Credit costs money and must be repaid. For a €300 purchase in 4 installments: €75 down payment, followed by 3 monthly payments of €75. Loan of €225 at a fixed rate of 0% over 3 months. Credit cost: €0. Total amount due: €300. APR: 0%. The cost of credit is covered by the retailer. Article 9 - Delivery
Deliveries are made to the address specified on the order form, which must be within the agreed geographic area. If only some of the items ordered are available, purebike.fr may split the order and ship the available items first, then ship the rest as soon as purebike.fr receives the products ordered by the buyer.
Upon receiving the package, if the customer notices that it is damaged, they must report this immediately on the form presented by the carrier. In all cases, the customer must also report the damage to Purebike.fr customer service.
Delivery times are provided as estimates. If the package is not received within the timeframe indicated when the order was confirmed, the customer should contact Purebike.fr customer service and ask them to arrange delivery as soon as possible. Failure to meet the delivery timeframe indicated when the order was confirmed cannot, under any circumstances, result in cancellation of the order unless more than thirty days have passed since the order was placed. In that case, the sales contract may be terminated and the buyer refunded, or Purebike.fr may offer to reship the merchandise to the buyer at no additional cost.

Article 10 - Warranties
The buyer is covered by 3 types of warranties from PureBike.fr:
- Legal warranty of conformity of the product with the contract
- Legal warranty against hidden defects
- Commercial or contractual warranty
The legal warranty of conformity of the product with the contract (Articles L. 217-4 to L. 217-14 of the French Consumer Code) guarantees that PureBike.fr will deliver a product to the buyer that conforms to the sales contract. The buyer has 2 years from delivery of the product to notify PureBike.fr of any discovered lack of conformity and exercise their rights. A product is considered to conform to the contract when it:
- is fit for the use normally expected of a similar product and, where applicable,
- matches the description provided by PureBike.fr and has the qualities presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model
- has the qualities that a buyer may legitimately expect in light of public statements made by PureBike.fr, the manufacturer, or its representative, particularly in advertising or on labeling
- has the characteristics mutually agreed upon by the parties or is fit for any specific purpose sought by the buyer, brought to PureBike.fr's attention, and accepted by PureBike.fr.
When a lack of conformity is confirmed, PureBike.fr will offer the buyer a replacement or repair. The buyer makes the choice, unless it would result in costs for PureBike.fr that are disproportionate to the other option.
The buyer may terminate the contract or receive a price reduction if the defect is significant and the timeframe for the chosen remedy exceeds 1 month from the request, or if no remedy is possible.
As stipulated in Article L217-11 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer may not be charged any fees for replacement, repair, termination, or price reduction under the legal warranty of conformity of the product with the contract.
The legal warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code) covers hidden defects in the item sold that make it unfit for its intended use, or that so diminish its usefulness that the buyer would not have purchased it, or would have paid a lower price, had they known about the defects. The time limit for bringing a claim is 2 years from the date the defect is discovered.
The legal warranty covers all costs resulting from hidden defects.
PureBike.fr is not liable for apparent defects that the buyer could have identified themselves, but is liable for hidden defects, even if the buyer was unaware of them, unless, in that case, it was stipulated that no warranty would be provided.
The defect must have existed before the sale and render the products unfit for their intended use.
The buyer may then choose to:
- return the item and receive a refund of the purchase price
- keep the item and receive a partial refund of the purchase price
The commercial or contractual warranty (Articles L.217-15 to L.217-16 of the French Consumer Code) is an additional warranty generally offered by a manufacturer, the terms of which are available in the product description on the PureBike.fr website. In general, the contractual warranty provides for repair or replacement of the product beyond the applicable legal warranties.
Please note that, in general, contractual warranties do not cover products used in competition or rental. The same applies when a product has been used improperly or is considered a wear part (bearings, brake pads, brake shoes, etc.).
When the buyer uses the commercial warranty for a purchased product, they generally must pay the shipping costs to return the product for repair or replacement.
Article 11 - Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has 14 full days from the date of receipt to return the products ordered at their own expense for a refund.
To make it easier to withdraw from an order, you can also use your customer account by clicking the "Withdrawal Form" tab to submit a simplified request.
Products must be returned to Purebike.fr in perfect resalable condition, in their original condition (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.), properly sealed, and accompanied by the invoice for the purchase.
Likewise, if the product includes a warranty card or any other document to be completed, it must not be filled out if the buyer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal. Any product that is incomplete, damaged, or whose original packaging has been damaged will not be refunded or exchanged.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the buyer may choose either a cash refund, issued by crediting the credit or debit card used for the original order or, if that is not possible, by check; or a store credit.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, and Purebike cannot be held responsible for lost returns (customers are therefore strongly advised to send products by registered mail with return receipt).
To expedite the processing of your request, we recommend using the product return request form available through your customer account or on the website's Contact page. Once your request is received, Customer Service will provide you with a return number to write on your package, allowing your request to be tracked.
