Orbea OCCAM SL M10 - Ivory White / Nickel (Gloss)

Light, efficient, and playful, the all-new Orbea Occam SL M10 is a true Trail machine. Its balanced geometry and 140 mm of travel put you in the perfect position to add flow to your rides, and the anti-squat adjustment (or suspension behaviour during pedalling) allows for great propulsion efficiency and lets the Occam SL climb anywhere!

Suspension lockout on the handlebars makes its debut on the Occam SL thanks to the Squidlock system, which allows you to quickly lock and unlock the suspension and also act on the dropper seat post. The handlebar thus remains clean and uncluttered thanks to the direct mounting on the brake lever. And if you want to make the bike more stable or more responsive, no problem, the Offset headset cup allows you to change the steering angle by +/- 0.75°.

The Occam SL now allows a 240 mm dropper seat post to be fully inserted, making it possible to fully depress the seat post. This gives you more freedom of movement and control over the bike.

In terms of protection, the Occam SL is ready for a hard life thanks to the replaceable vinyl protection, which offers new aesthetic options while preserving the frame's paint. The "Second Skin" solution can also be easily removed and replaced with another graphic to give the bike a new look. It is also equipped with overmoulded plastic guards that protect the frame from impacts and eliminate chain noise. As for audible cable rubbing, it disappears thanks to internal cable guides, silicone plugs at the frame's entry and exit points, and clever sheaths between the front and rear triangles.

Finally, while the Occam is available in four sizes (S, M, L, and XL), its Steep'n'Deep design combined with one of the shortest seat tubes on the market means that several sizes can suit personal preferences. Opt for a larger frame size to maximise stability or a smaller frame for a more playful Occam.

Key features

• A high-performance OMR frame with an innovative asymmetric design. High-modulus and high-resistance fibres as well as advanced carbon-working processes allow us to use less material without compromising strength.
• The carbon shock link maximises rigidity while minimising weight.
• The asymmetric reinforcement on the rear triangle allows material to be removed elsewhere while controlling rigidity and reducing weight. The aesthetics are cool, but that's secondary!
• A very versatile 140 mm of travel
• The SIC system for cable routing through the headset offers perfect integration
• Squidlock technology, with remote suspension lockout and unlock
• A LockR hatch for accessing a storage compartment in the down tube
• The integration of the multi-tool with 2, 3, 4, and 5 mm Allen keys (included) in the Occam's pivot and secured by a magnet
• Sealed bearings that guarantee excellent longevity even in extreme conditions
• A progressive and impeccable full FOX suspension
• A precise and reliable Shimano 12-speed drivetrain
• Oquo MP Carbon wheelsets, minimising weight (1 505 g) without compromising reliability for trail riding
• A dropper seat post
