Available in 10-42T or 10-46T gearing, the Sunrace MX9X 11-speed cassette offers a wide gear range. Compatible with XD freehub bodies and SRAM and Shimano 1x11-speed drivetrains.
The Sunrace MX9X 11-speed cassette is specially designed for 1x11-speed drivetrains fitted with a SRAM XD freehub body. Available in 10-42T or 10-46T gearing, it offers a very wide gear range, with a 10T starting sprocket to maximize top speed. Built around an anodized aluminum spider and combining high-strength steel sprockets with a large A7075 aluminum sprocket, the MX9X delivers smooth, fast, and durable shifting for Cross-Country, All-Mountain, and Enduro riding.
Sunrace MX9X cassette highlights
10T starting sprocket for SRAM XD freehub bodies: Extends the gear range while maintaining excellent top speed in the smallest sprocket.
Hybrid high-strength steel and A7075 aluminum construction: The most heavily loaded sprockets are made of high-strength steel for maximum durability, while the largest sprocket and spiders are made of aluminum to reduce weight.
Fluid Drive Plus technology: Carefully designed tooth profiles and shift ramps ensure crisp, smooth chain movement up and down the cassette, even under heavy pedaling.
Two gearing options: Versatile 10-42T or ultra-wide 10-46T gearing for tackling the steepest climbs with a single chainring.
Dual aluminum spiders: Reduce overall weight while providing outstanding torsional stiffness under heavy pedaling loads.

Maintenance and installation recommendations
Apply plenty of grease to the SRAM XD freehub body threads before installing the cassette to prevent unwanted noise and creaking.
When you remove it from the box, unscrew the cassette lockring from the assembly.
Remove all the sprockets, spacers, and both spiders from the XD adapter.
Install the XD adapter on your wheel's XD freehub body and tighten it clockwise to 40 Nm.
Then install both spiders, the sprockets, and the spacers on the adapter.
Thread the cassette lockring clockwise and tighten it to 40 Nm.
Check your 11-speed chain for wear regularly using a chain wear indicator to protect the teeth on the large aluminum sprocket.
Clean the drivetrain regularly with a dedicated chain and cassette degreaser, then lubricate it with an oil suited to your riding conditions.
