The genuine MAGURA MDP 7 brake pads are designed to deliver powerful, controllable, and quiet braking on all 2-piston MT and MT C series calipers (MT2, MT4, MT6, MT8, MT Trail Rear, MT C). Thanks to their metal-infused organic compound and Magura's proprietary technology, these pads ensure excellent heat dissipation, effective fade protection, and precise control for Cross-Country, Trail, Road, or hybrid bike / E-Bike riding.
Key features of Magura MDP 7 brake pads
Designed specifically for 2-piston calipers: A perfect fit and secure positioning in the caliper for progressive, vibration-free braking.
Metal-infused organic compound (up to 30%): The ideal combination of immediate bite when cold, excellent heat resistance when hot, and ultra-quiet operation.
Fade resistance: Maintains its power and consistent braking performance on long descents or under the weight of an e-bike.
Wide choice of compounds: Available in Yellow (Gold/Yellow), Black (Black/Grey), and Green (Green) compounds to suit your riding style.
Complete kit: Includes the 2 individual pads needed to equip one complete caliper (with fixing bolt).
Technical specifications

Black (Black/Grey): The perfect balance for sport riders seeking excellent bite, versatility, and good durability.
Green (Green): Prioritizes quiet operation, progressive braking, and maximum everyday service life.
Maintenance and cleaning tips
Clean the rotors and calipers regularly with a dedicated disc brake cleaner (avoid greasy solvents or oils).
Replace the pads when 1 mm of compound remains or if they become contaminated with brake fluid or lubricant.
Bedding-in procedure and tips
To ensure maximum friction, quiet operation, and even wear, be sure to follow Magura's bedding-in procedure.
Bedding-in procedure: Find a flat, open area, accelerate the bike to 25-30 km/h, then firmly and progressively apply the brake lever until you slow to walking speed (without locking the wheel).
Repeat: Perform this procedure 30 times in a row to form a transfer layer on the rotor and remove resin gases.
Avoid: Do not perform prolonged, hard braking until the pads are fully bedded in to the rotor.
