Benno

Benno Bikes designs premium e-bikes and cargo bikes that are easy to handle, stylish, and suited to urban and utility riding.

Benno Bikes is a California-based brand founded in 2015 by Benno Baenziger, designer and co-founder of the iconic Electra brand. Benno Bikes’ mission is to rethink the utility e-bike by combining riding enjoyment, cargo capacity, and refined design. The Etility® concept (Electric + Utility) embodies this ambition: an electric bike that can carry loads while remaining easy to handle and enjoyable for everyday use.

Whether you use an e-bike for city commutes, carrying kids or groceries, or choose a cargo model for your adventures, Benno Bikes offers premium solutions: branded motors (e.g., Bosch), sturdy frames, handling-focused geometry, and integrated cargo accessories.

Discover the complete Benno Bikes range at Purebike: cargo e-bikes, utility bikes, and compatible accessories for every rider looking to replace their car with a true cycling alternative. Choose a high-performance, sustainable, and stylish way to get around.
