Size Selection Information
Letter Meaning
- S or L indicate the width of the saddle, and the choice between them is based on the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
- Size S: narrow distance, for people with a value below 120 mm
- Size L: wide distance, for people with a value above 120 mm
- If you have already identified your ischial width through a medical visit or a bike fitting, you can easily find the saddle width that suits you best. If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
Number Meaning
- Numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a hole in the saddle, and the choice depends on pelvis rotation/flexibility. For those with excellent pelvis rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it is reduced to size 1.
- 1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning no hole.
- 2: indicates the presence of a smaller hole called "Flow."
- 3: indicates the presence of the so-called "Superflow" hole (the largest).
- Stiffer individuals can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a hole.
