Size selection information
Letter meaning
- S or L indicate the width of the saddle, and the choice between the two is guided by the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
- Size S: narrow distance, for people with a value below 120 mm
- Size L: large distance, for people with a value above 120 mm
- If you have already identified your ischial width during a medical visit or a bike fitting session, you can easily find the saddle width that suits you best. If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
Number meaning
- The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a cut-out in the saddle, and the choice is guided by pelvic rotation/flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it is reduced to size 1.
- 1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning no cut-out.
- 2: indicates the presence of a smaller cut-out called "Flow".
- 3: indicates the presence of the so-called "Superflow" cut-out (the widest one).
- Less flexible people can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a cut-out.
