The Mondraker SLY is, after the NEAT and DUNE, the brand's first light e-bike weighing under 21 kg. Equipped with a Stealth Alloy frame, designed for mountain bikers who want to step into the world of e-bikes without breaking the bank, it remains the most refined Stealth Alloy full-suspension model to date. The seamless welds make the frame's tube junctions so harmonious that it's hard to even notice their presence. You'll need to tap the frame a few times to believe it's actually made of aluminum. It's the aesthetics of aluminum pushed to the extreme.
Mondraker brings the same care and obsession for perfection to its Stealth Alloy bikes as it does to its carbon fiber models. The SLY features the HHG (Hidden Housing Guide) cable routing at the headset, custom rubber protection on the chainstays, downtube, and shock, a UDH derailleur hanger, an integrated chain guide, and two bottle cages (one of which can hold an additional battery).
SLY and NEAT can be considered two of the best in their category when it comes to lightweight eMTBs. The SLY shares the same 150 mm rear travel and 160 mm fork as the NEAT. It also inherits the same geometry and kinematics as the NEAT, and benefits from the updated Forward Geometry and Zero Suspension system. Where the SLY surpasses the NEAT is in its sizing options, as it's the first bike in Mondraker's Light eMTB range to be available in 5 sizes: S, M, ML, L, and XL.
The SLY relies on the Bosch Performance SX motor, which is compact, lightweight, and powerful, delivering 55 Nm of torque and peak power of 600 W. It's the same motor the brand chose for the DUNE, and combined with its integrated 400Wh battery, it offers a riding experience and performance very similar to that of the NEAT and, of course, the DUNE.
For those who want a little more (you know who you are), an optional 250W additional battery can be added.
The SLY gets rid of cables where they’re least needed. To give your cockpit a minimalist look and improve shifting performance, Mondraker has equipped both SLY models with SRAM’s AXS T-Type transmission. No longer do you need to spend on carbon fiber bikes to benefit from the latest technologies.
The Sly RR is equipped with Fox suspension with 150 mm of rear travel and 160 mm at the front, Mavic E-Crosstrail SL wheels, a 12-speed Sram GX Eagle AXS T-Type drivetrain, and an OnOff Pija dropper post!
