Information on Size Selection

Meaning of the Letter

• S or L indicates the width of the saddle, and the choice between the two depends on the intertrochanteric distance (the distance between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
• Size S: Narrow distance, for people with a measurement below 120 mm.
• Size L: Wide distance, for people with a measurement above 120 mm.
• If you have already identified your ischial width through a medical visit or a bike fitting, you can easily find the best saddle width for you. If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.

Meaning of the Number

• The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a cut-out in the saddle, and the choice is guided by pelvic rotation/flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, the choice narrows to size 1.
• 1: Indicates a closed saddle, meaning no cut-out.
• 2: Indicates the presence of a smaller cut-out called "Flow".
• 3: Indicates the presence of the so-called "Superflow" cut-out (the largest).
• Less flexible individuals can use size 1, but also sizes 2 and 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a cut-out.
