Meaning of the letter
S or L indicate the saddle's width, guided by the intertrochanteric distance (between the sit bones of the pelvis).
Size S: Narrow distance, for people with a value below 120 mm
Size L: Wide distance, for people with a value above 120 mm
If you already know the width of your sit bones from a medical visit or bike fitting, you can easily find the best saddle width for you. If not, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
Meaning of the number
The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a cut-out in the saddle, guided by pelvic rotation/flexibility of the body. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it reduces to size 1.
1: Indicates a closed saddle, i.e., no cut-out.
2: Indicates the presence of a smaller cut-out called "Flow."
3: Indicates the presence of the so-called "Superflow" cut-out (the largest).
Stiffer individuals can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a cut-out.
