Size Information
Meaning of the letter
S or L indicate the saddle's width, and the choice between them is guided by the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
Size S: narrow distance, for people with a value below 120 mm
Size L: wide distance, for people with a value above 120 mm
If you’ve already identified the width of your ischial bones during a medical visit or bike fitting, you’ll easily find the most suitable saddle width. If you haven’t measured it, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
Meaning of the number
Numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a cut-out in the saddle, and the choice is guided by pelvic rotation/flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it reduces to size 1.
1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning no cut-out.
2: indicates the presence of a smaller cut-out called “Flow.”
3: indicates the presence of the “Superflow” cut-out (the largest).
More “stiff” people can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a cut-out.
