Size Selection Information
Meaning of the Letter
S or L indicates the width of the saddle, based on the intertrochanteric distance (distance between the sit bones of the pelvis).
Size S: Narrow distance, for people with a value below 120 mm.
Size L: Wide distance, for people with a value above 120 mm.
If you’ve already identified your sit bone width during a medical check or bike fitting, you can easily find the right saddle width for you. If no measurements have been taken, we recommend contacting an idmatch center.
Meaning of the Number
The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a cut-out in the saddle, guided by pelvic rotation/flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while it decreases to size 1 for others.
1: Indicates a closed saddle (no cut-out).
2: Indicates the presence of a smaller cut-out called "Flow."
3: Indicates the presence of the so-called "Superflow" (widest cut-out).
Less flexible individuals can use sizes 1, 2, and 3. Conversely, it’s not recommended for flexible individuals to use a saddle without a cut-out.
