Information on Size Selection
Meaning of the Letter
S or L indicate the saddle width, guided by the intertrochanteric distance (between the sit bones of the pelvis).
Size S: narrow distance, for individuals with a value below 120 mm.
Size L: large distance, for individuals with a value above 120 mm.
If you already know the width of your sit bones from a medical visit or a bike fitting session, you can easily find the saddle width that suits you best. If no measurements have been taken, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
Meaning of the Number
The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a cut-out in the saddle, guided by pelvic rotation/flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it narrows to size 1.
1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning no cut-out.
2: indicates the presence of a smaller cut-out called "Flow."
3: indicates the presence of the larger "Superflow" cut-out.
Less flexible individuals can use size 1, 2, or 3. Conversely, flexible individuals are advised against using a saddle without a cut-out.
