The Fox 36 Float SL 29" Performance Elite Grip X is the lightest Trail fork ever designed by the American brand. Engineered to deliver the stiffness of a 36 with the responsiveness of a 34, it's made for demanding riders looking to push their limits without weighing down their bike. This 2026 model features 140 mm travel and a 44 mm offset, ideal for technical and agressive trails

The SL chassis has been completely redesigned to combine lightness, stiffness, and performance. The reshaped arch, thinner and flatter, increases torsional stiffness by 20% compared to a Fox 34 while reducing overall weight. It also includes a new openwork crown in 7000-series aluminium, optimised magnesium lowers and repositioned air/oil bypass channels for improved hydraulic performance.

The spring system uses the FLOAT EVOL air cartridge, providing excellent small bump sensitivity and progressive support suited to modern Trail riding. This fork also features newly spaced bushings to reduce friction under dynamic load.

On the damping side, it uses the GRIP X damper, a lightweight version (120 g lighter than the GRIP X2) that delivers high-end performance with 3-way adjustability (rebound, low-speed compression, high-speed compression) and a fast-access FIRM mode to optimise pedalling efficiency.

Weighing only 1,755 g in 29" with 140 mm travel, the Fox 36 SL Performance Elite strikes the perfect balance between pedalling efficiency, steering stiffness and comfort on fast descents. An ideal fork for aggressive Trail competitors!
