Hope Fortus 26 Pro 5 Wheelset Black 26" 2024

Fortus 26 Pro 5 26" is the most versatile wheel from Hope . It's optimized for tyres section from 2.25 to 2.50 and is dedicated to Trail and Enduro. It's built around the new 15x100 mm and 12x142 mm Pro 5 Hub here in colour Black wich is available in Centerlock and 6 bolts

Hope Pro 5 hub features a lot of innovations compared to the Pro 4 . First, the sealing has been improved by the addition of an external seal on the left side and by a redesigned labyrinth seal on the drive side that offer zero drag and incredible freewheeling performances. The other innovation is situated in the freehub himself because it's now a 6 pawls design available in 2 versions . The "muscular" version, in aluminium, features an alernative (2x3) pawls contact that offer 108 point of engagement. The "E-Bike" version, made of steel, use a simultaneous 6 pawls contact design with 54 points of engagement and offer an incredible resistance to load. Pawls have been redesigned too in order to decrease drag and increase load capacity. 

Pro 5 rear hub that equip the Fortus 26 wheel allow the installation of the following freehub standard with easy interchangeability : Shimano HG Standard, Sram XD/XDR, and Shimano Microspline

The front wheel comes with 15x100 mm axle configuration and can be set to 9x100 mm QR and 20x110 mm (6 bolts version only) by installing dedicated adapters (sold separately)

The rear wheel comes with 12x142 mm axle configuration and is compatible with 12x135 mm and 9x135 mm QR by installing dedicated adapters (sold separately) . It's available for 6 bolts or centerlock disc rotors and comes with the Alternative 6 pawls design aluminium freehub body that offer 108 points of engagement.
